A career shaped by a habit of going one layer deeper than the job asked for. I started as an engineer, but I was always more curious about the systems underneath a product than the feature sitting on top of it. That pull led from writing code to architecting the machinery that lets code scale.

Over fifteen years I've built distributed systems across IndiaProperty, Just Buy Live, Wishberg and a run of early teams, then built and led a 35-engineer team at Paytm Money, shipping event-driven financial products trusted by millions of Indians. After that I took the same discipline into healthtech as Senior Director of Technology at Onsurity.

Today I run Capaxe Labs, a Shopify systems engineering studio, and Bee Apps, a suite of premium Shopify apps used by 5,000+ merchants. The work lives where engineering meets commerce: conversion, merchandising, performance, and the custom systems that off-the-shelf Shopify can't reach.

My current obsession is AI applied to real operations. Deep learning and reinforcement learning as tools that make stores and teams smarter, without handing over the judgement that makes the work good. Still an engineer at heart; the work now sits between systems, products, and the businesses that run on them.
